The Power of Knowing your Customers
Following a recent experience with a service provider, which fell well short of my expectations, I was presented with two ways in which I could provide my feedback - A survey (which I would ordinarily ignore based solely on the perception I don't have time) or to email their CEO directly.

I took the second option and emailed their CEO directly, and received a response within a matter of minutes... Wow. This business went from having an unhappy customer with a less than satisfactory experience to actually having someone who is willing to give them another go. All because they understood the journey their customer was on and their willingness to offer a different way to provide feedback.

My takeaway from this experience: Communications from us will always include our contact details, will often come directly from me or will include a way to contact me directly. I encourage you to speak directly to us, or to me because there is nothing more powerful than you getting your message across to those that count, and we are in the business to service your needs.

My question to you is how do you get direct feedback from your customers? What do your customers want to share with you, but may not be getting the chance to do so today? What are the waste services that your customers want?

Please reach out, we'd like to hear your feedback.

Introducing Resource Hub
Mandalay's Consulting Partner
Mandalay is changing the way we deliver consultancy services. We recognise that the waste and resource recovery sector continues to become more complex and we need to take steps to ensure we can offer the skills and expertise that will support you across a wide breadth of site design, technical, data and regulatory functions.

Many of you will know Lacey Webb, who has been Mandalay's senior consultant for several years and who will continue to work with Mandalay and our customers, just in a different way. Lacey is moving into the Director position of Resource Hub Consulting and will work with Mandalay as a preferred partner.

The Mandalay Consulting Team will continue to support you through the provision of operational site analysis, training, reporting, and product and pricing reviews. There may be times were Mandalay and Resource Hub will work together to ensure we deliver the best value and outcomes possible.

As always, our focus is your success and that you are supported through the availability of a wide range of professional services.
Resource Hub Consulting are experts in the BUSINESS of Waste.  From waste levy advisory and operational process reviews to financial audits and grant writing, our team of WARR experts know that business process is often an opportunity wasted within commercial and Local Government operated waste management facilities. Because of this, we work with resource recovery
operators to bring people and process together for more effective operational outcomes.

In addition to our core offering of Waste Regulation and Levy support, we operate the only dedicated Remote Administration team within the Australian waste management sector, filling administrative gaps and working with facilities to provide remote administration and compliance personnel, adding specialist waste experience to your team.

We are also pleased to be Mandalay’s preferred partner in Operational Process, Waste Levy and Financial auditing.  With over 35 years of experience in the industry, our team are leaders in identifying risk and defining and implementing best practice solutions specific to waste and resource recovery operations, and we’re excited to continue working with Mandalay and their customers to deliver those solutions.

Waste is a problem and we love problem solving.  So how can we help you to solve your rubbish problems?

Mandalay in Waste Management Review

by Waste Management Review

Tamworth Regional Council’s Morné Hattingh speaks with Waste Management Review about boosting process efficiency with Mandalay Technologies’ Facility Analytics and Reporting product.
Located almost halfway between Brisbane and Sydney, Tamworth, NSW is commonly known as the First Town of Lights, being the first place in Australia to use electric streetlights in 1888.

The region is also internationally recognised for its annual Tamworth Country Music Festival – the second-biggest country music festival in the world, after Nashville’s CMA Fest.

While it perhaps inspires less ‘mainstream’ interest, Tamworth is also a centre of waste management and resource recovery innovation, with Tamworth Regional Council committed to a range of sustainability initiatives including organics recycling and the Waste No More program.
