Hi ,

As we step into 2026, I want to extend my sincere thanks to all our customers, partners, and industry colleagues for your continued trust and collaboration. A new year always brings renewed energy and fresh opportunity, and this one is no exception.

Our team have been focusing on maintaining the reliability and customer-first approach you expect from us, while also accelerating the work needed to integrate more deeply into the AMCS ecosystem. I’m incredibly proud of how our team has embraced this next chapter—balancing the delivery of day‑to‑day outcomes with the ambition to build something even stronger for the future.

Across the sector, we’re seeing a clear shift toward smarter, more connected, and more data‑driven operations. Councils are looking for greater transparency and traceability, commercial operators are seeking efficiency gains across their facilities, and organisations of all sizes are recognising the value of integrated digital workflows. These needs continue to guide our investment and product direction, and we’re excited to share more throughout the year as new capabilities and enhancements come to life.

To those who have recently joined us, thank you for choosing Mandalay. And to our long‑standing customers, your partnership remains central to everything we do. Your insights and feedback play a critical role in shaping our roadmap, and we remain deeply committed to supporting your success—today and into the future.

Product Updates

Resident Product Suite

New Functionality & Updates

We have recently introduced new functionality within the Resident Product Suite that allows councils to apply resident vouchers toward bulk waste bookings. This enhancement was developed in response to customer feedback and provides greater flexibility for residents while supporting councils in managing demand more efficiently.

In addition, our team is progressing a series of smaller improvements to both vouchers and bulk waste workflows ahead of the upcoming renewal period. These updates are designed to streamline processes and ensure a smoother experience during peak activity.

Updated Menu Experience

New Navigation

We have released an update to the Facility Management and Resident Management interface to improve usability and streamline navigation.

The left‑hand menu is now collapsible and loads in a minimised state by default. It expands on hover and can be reduced further to icon‑only mode, providing additional screen space—particularly useful when viewing reports.

We have also updated the site selection drop‑down within transaction search, data exports, and paged reports. Inactive sites will now automatically appear at the bottom of the list, ensuring active sites remain prioritised at the top.

QLD Regulatory

Changes Implemented for QWDS

DETSI has completed its upgrade to the QWDS system, with the new process now in effect from 9 February.

Mandalay’s Regulatory Management system has been updated accordingly, and all functionality is operating as expected.

Please note that any submissions created prior to the weekend that remain unfinalised will need to be rerun to generate the updated file format. Further details are available in our knowledge article: Regulatory Update Feb 2026 – QWDS Update.
