Hi ,

Over the past few months, we’ve been working closely with many of you to get a sharper picture of the real challenges and opportunities in your operations. Whether it’s gaining better visibility across your sites, streamlining workflows, or turning data into confident decisions, we’re obsessed with helping you squeeze every bit of value from your systems.

We’re continuing to pour serious investment into the Mandalay platform as part of AMCS. These ongoing enhancements are built specifically for the evolving demands of Australia’s waste and resource recovery industry. It’s been genuinely exciting to see so many of you using the technology in fresh and clever ways. One example is ‘on demand’ services for customers. A concept that was rare 5 years ago is now mainstream, and I ran into a particular Council that now has more than 6 ‘on demand’ services for their residents. I love it as it’s placing the value right where the customer needs it!

We’ve also been having some excellent conversations about AI and how it’s moving from buzzword to an everyday tool in our industry. From cutting out tedious manual data entry to surfacing insights faster and sharpening decision-making, AI is delivering real impact today. What’s especially powerful is how it builds directly on the rich data you’re already capturing in Mandalay — turning it into fast, actionable intelligence your teams can actually use on the ground.

As we explore this space at AMCS, our promise remains the same: keep the tools practical, accessible, and genuinely valuable.

In this edition, we’ve packed in the latest platform updates, highlights from recent industry events, and practical insights you can take straight back to your teams.

As always, thank you for your partnership. Your feedback and real-world experience are what shape what we build next.

Waste 2026 Event Wrap-up

Coffs Waste Conference

Members of our team recently attended the Coffs Harbour Waste Conference, which brought together councils, operators, and industry leaders from across the region. The event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with customers, share ideas, and discuss the key challenges facing the waste and resource recovery sector.

From evolving regulatory requirements to improving operational efficiency and data visibility, the conversations reinforced the importance of having the right systems in place to support better decision-making. It was great to see so many familiar faces and to continue strengthening relationships within the industry.

Product Updates

New Facility Insights Report

We hope you’ve had a chance to explore the updated Facility Insights Report, now available under the Insights tab. With enhanced visibility across key metrics like tickets, weight, revenue, and unique vehicles, along with features such as Monthly Snapshots, Productivity and Trends views, and pre-aggregated Client and Product Revenue summaries, the report is designed to provide a clearer and more comprehensive view of performance.

If you’ve started using the new report, we’d love to hear your feedback. Your insights play an important role in helping us continue to refine and improve the experience. If you haven’t yet had a chance to try it, we encourage you to take a look and explore the new functionality.

Regulatory Updates for Tasmania

We’ve updated the Mandalay platform to support upcoming NRE Tasmania reporting changes effective 1 July 2026. This includes enhancements to the regulatory data pack and a new export to help Tasmania customers report actual waste streams within bulked inter-facility loads, in line with the updated requirements.

Upcoming Webinar
