This acquisition, completed in April, marks an exciting new chapter for our team and for you, our valued clients. Mandalay Email Addresses

Will Change from 1st of September

As you may be aware, AMCS Group acquired Mandalay earlier this year.  We are currently in a transition period as we integrate Mandalay under the AMCS Group umbrella.  Starting the week commencing the 1st of September, you will begin to see some changes in how we operate. 

One key change is that our email addresses will be updated to the AMCS format, with all staff using firstname.lastname@amcsgroup.com.


While our name is changing, our commitment to delivering exceptional solutions and services remains the same. We’re committed to making this a smooth transition and will keep you informed of any further updates.

Several New Reports Available

There have been several new reports and updates released since our last newsletter across both our Standard and Premium Facility Analytics & Reporting products.  


You may already be using these new reports, but if you missed their release, here’s a list:

There have also been some new filters added to Paged Reports and Data Exports, some enhancements made within Transaction Search, and updates released across several existing reports. As always, detailed articles are available within Mandalay’s Customer Service Portal.  


Commercial Management 

Evolving the Management of Your Commercial Data

Commercial Management is a new naus application that will be accessed via the naus Platform, giving you direct access to manage your commercial data in the cloud and removing the need to launch the Facility Core - Administration remote app.


The Commercial Management application is already available to customers using Commercial Services to share transaction information with customers. As new features become available and as customers upgrade to version 3.7, Commercial Management will be rolled out to all customers.

Facility Mobile Application 

Onsite Vehicle Processing

Mandalay’s Facility Mobile Application will allow your team to update open transactions at the drop-off point, giving you the ability to:


  • Accurately identify and record individual waste materials to improve transaction accuracy.

  • Increase diversion and resource recovery - by making data-driven decisions and positioning staff at the drop-off point to support customers. 

Staff access the application via a mobile device and can update information such as license plate details, individual waste materials and their associated weights. Plus, comments can be added to a transaction. 


Attach Photos Directly to Transactions

We’re excited to announce that the Facility Mobile Application’s new image capture functionality is now available. This feature will allow your team to attach photos directly to transactions—perfect for on-site issue reporting and streamlined documentation. Images will be instantly accessible via transaction search, enhancing visibility and operational efficiency. 


A typical use case might involve a staff member inspecting a load on site, identifying an issue, and capturing a photo that’s instantly linked to the transaction. That image then becomes viewable within transaction search, making it easier for teams to verify, track, and resolve discrepancies without delay.

Are you Still Using WBR?

Web Based Reporting

If you are still using Web Based Reporting (WBR) to access your Mandalay reports, it is time to consider transitioning to naus Facility Management (Facility Analytics & Reporting).  

All customers have access to Standard reporting features, including:

  • Transaction Search

  • Power BI Interactive Reports that dynamically present data based on filter selections. Report types include Operational, Mass Balance and Time Sensitive.

  • Data Exports that will allow users to export transactional, master data or state specific regulatory data in a raw format.

  • Paged Reports that produce aggregated, grouped and paged results in a PDF format.

For those customers looking for even more flexibility with reporting, Premium Facility Analytics & Reporting offers an extension to Standard reporting, giving access to additional reports and enhanced functionality including the ability to create and edit operational reports.

Using Categories and Groups to Enhance Reporting

Utilising Categories and Groups in your data setup can significantly enhance your reporting experience. 


By organising information into these structures, you can effectively report on information that falls within the same category or group, giving you an overview of the performance of collective data. 

Tip of the Month: Commercial Services

Exporting Transactions

Did you know that your commercial customers can be given the ability to download their transactions and export them as a CSV file?

Our new commercial services product delivers exactly that, providing a secure self-service portal for sharing transaction information from your waste facilities.


Once logged into the Commercial Services Portal, your customers will simply need to search for transactions and click on the Export CSV button to download the information to their local machine.
