Hi ,

As we approach the end of 2025, I want to take a moment to thank our customers, partners, and industry peers for your continued support and collaboration throughout what has been a transformative year.

We have come to the end of our first year as part of the AMCS Group, and it’s been a period of both consolidation and momentum. We’ve continued to deliver on our promise of reliable, customer-focused solutions while laying the groundwork for deeper integration, innovation, and scale. I’m proud of how our team has navigated this transition and balanced day-to-day delivery with long-term vision.

We’ve also seen a growing appetite across the sector for smarter, more connected operations. Whether it’s councils looking to track source of load with greater precision, or commercial operators seeking to optimise their facility workflows, the demand for actionable data and seamless integration has never been stronger. We’re investing accordingly—and we’re excited to share more in the new year about how we’re evolving our platform to meet these needs.

To our new customers who joined us this year: thank you for placing your trust in us. And to our long-standing clients: we remain as committed as ever to your success. Your feedback, ideas, and partnership continue to shape where we invest into our product roadmap to serve your future needs.

On behalf of the entire team, I wish you a safe, restful, and joyful holiday season. We look forward to working with you in 2026.

Summer is Here

Is Your Organisation Disaster Ready?

Now is the time to prepare for the likelihood of floods, severe storm damage, fires and dust storms.

During disasters, there is little time to react. Planning in advance will ensure better outcomes.

How prepared are your facilities for disaster?

  • Do you have a disaster plan in place for your waste facilities?

  • What approach do you have for measuring volumes and transactional movements of waste?

  • What is your communication plan if disaster hits?

  • How will you manage pre-emptive free tipping or clean up days as part of your disaster response strategy?

Having the tools ready in advance of an event will limit the effort required when disaster strikes.

Tip of the Month

Showing Recent Data With Date Slicers

Did you know your date slicers can automatically show the most recent data?

If you're subscribed to our premium reporting with customisable reports, you can configure your date slicers to always default to the latest dates in your dataset. No manual adjustments needed.

How to set it up:

  1. Open your report in edit mode

  2. Hover over the date slicer. A small eraser icon will appear in the top right corner

  3. Click the eraser icon to clear all selections

  4. Save your report

That's it! Your date slicer will now automatically adjust to show the minimum and maximum dates available in your data.

Why this works:

Power BI remembers slicer selections when you save a report. By clearing the selection before saving, you're telling Power BI to dynamically use whatever the actual min/max dates are in the data, rather than fixed dates. This means your reports will always display the most current information without manual updates.
